GAMELAN /KARAWITAN
A set of sundanese traditional
musical instruments to accompany Sundanese singing. Most of Krida students are
very much interested in this gamelan music. Almost in any occasion both in and
outside Krida Campus. This gamelan music is always mesmerized the audience.

This Karawitan includes:

Kecapi Suling: A classical Sundanese Music.
Kecapi is a traditional Sundanese lute and Suling is a traditional Sundanese
flute. Both musical instruments are played together to accompagny all kinds of
Sundanese songs.

Rampak Kendang :
Tubalar Drum Orchestra. This is an ensemble of traditoinal Sundanese musical
instruments dominated by a play varius kinds of drums called Kendang played by
a group of drummers who also move beautifully as they play intricate
interlocking rhythms. This kendang has a very important role in directing the
rhythms. Therefore it is always needed to accompany all kinds of traditional
dances.

Rampak Sekar. Sudanese traditional choir.
